Don's Radio Control R/C Car page.
I have several R/C cars, I really like the associated RC10
series cars. I bought one back in the early 90's when they can out with the
graphite body's. This car was a big improvement over the "Black
Foot" I had first learned with. I had hopped up the Black Foot but found it
to be quite fragile. The RC10 was a much cleaner design, easier to repair and a
lot more stable on the track. I once clocked the car at 52mph!, I was in a mall
parking lot when an interested police officer drove up to check us out. New,
freshly charges batt, small pinion, and trinity monster H.P motor. fastest I
ever ran that car. Was too fast for the track, so I slowed it down for normal
use. As I got more into the sport I bought a Kyosho Burns DX 4 wheel drive OS
max 21 nitro buggy style car. Ran great but kept stripping main drive gears,
haven't really run this car a lot because its hard to start and keeps breaking
down, but lately I have been trying to restore it and get it back on the road.

Team Associated RC104b RTR new
My newest car is the Team Associated
RC104B RTR
Boy have
cars gotten a lot better in the past 10 years. This one handles better,
goes over gravel better, nice motor, cheaper and has that same simple design known for Associated. I
have already stripped out there steering servo, replaced with a
metal BB one. seems to take abuse well haven't let loose on it too much
yet but I know me I Will! heha

My RC10 from 1989 Graphite, still runs

or easily replaceable. |

4WD .21 engine. Hardly ran this Car I think the radio is bad, The
car took off and drove away for about a 1/2 mile before it crashed.
Waiting to get a new radio.

Blackfoot My first Car ever.. YEARS of abuse. Yes
it still RUNS! have a toolbox of broken parts and it has hot glue
all over it (shock mounts) Have worn the wheels right off there bearings,
needs new rims but plumbers puddy has rebuilt the rims to hold the
bearings for now. Have done spectacular jumps with this truck.
